Football is a contact sport. There will occasionally be accidents. A burden of proof for intent or recklessness has to be met for foul play. That is just not a red card.

Just put your foot in the way of someone planting their leg and you'll get them sent off

Haven't seen the replay of the Maguire handball in real time, only in slow-mo. In the slow-mo replay it does look like Maguire intentionally uses his arm to block the ball.
