Hey fellow entrepreneurs, I've just embarked on an exciting journey – I've relocated to France from Germany and am eager to kickstart my e-commerce fashion brand. I come with a budget of nearly 10,000 euros and some prior experience in the fashion e-commerce space. While I'm feeling confident about my venture, I believe that understanding the nuances of the e-commerce market in France compared to Germany will be crucial. That's where I'm hoping you, the experienced members of r/entrepreneur, can lend your wisdom.

What are the current trends in the French e-commerce landscape? Is there something important that I should be aware of?

If you were in my shoes, how would you go about launching in the French market? Are Meta ads and Shopify a good way to go here?

I genuinely appreciate any insights, advice, or personal experiences you can share. I'm excited to embark on this journey and am eager to learn from your collective wisdom. Merci beaucoup for your help!

P.S. If you have any specific resources, tools, or contacts in the French e-commerce industry that you'd recommend, please feel free to share them.

  1. build an audience: start blogging and creating content consistently. then move that audience off socials and onto email.
  2. educate your audience of fans about your upcoming launch. create sneak peaks, discount codes, get their input on bundles and other product ideas.
  3. begin the count down on your socials and email. use lead ads to tease and reward people who want to sign up to get the first look at the launch
  4. launch, sell, remarket.
