Nba refs make top dollar for their job. But they are the worst ref/ump in any sport.
NBA - Main
Game analysis, highlights and everything else that is happening in the NBA.
Not a basketball fan, coming here from /r/all:
Oh come on, seriously?
That was like a one second look 😂
Even Joey Crawford thought that was a bullshit call
And I though football (soccer) refs were bad...
Word has it after being ejected, Giannis went straight over to Craig Counsell Field in Whitefish Bay.
Charmin Ultra Soft.
Nothing will change until the viewership drops. Want the refs to stop doing nonsense like this? Stop watching the spot and stop attending the games.
I’m a die-hard Detroit fan and even I had to join in on the “ref you suck” chants for this one
Soft
Almost as stupid as Timmy getting booted for just looking at a ref.
He got ejected because it's illegal to use your sharingan and put the other players in a genjutsu after a dunk.
I’m confused, shouldn’t that be a travel?
When does the NBA start showing accountability for the ticky-tacky-tech bullshit? I get that the game moves fast, etc., etc., but the last two seasons there have been this spate of miserably bunched-panty tech calls over literally nothing. It doesn't send a message. It doesn't get the game back under control. It's the referees taking main character energy to the next level and it alters the game enough to start making people wonder if the fix is in again...
I don’t know if it’s the league that’s ordering them to behave the way they do, or if it’s some kind of unwritten code amongst the referees, but it’s so odd that NBA referees in general don’t express their human side and admit to their own mistakes. This is actually bad for them. As far as I know, the NBA is the only league where the referees are presented as a bunch of emotionless often-malfunctioning robots at best and tantrum-prone two-year-olds at worst. So long as they keep insisting on this image, rather than presenting them as normal mistake-prone humans like the rest of us, the fan frustration will eventually get to a point where they’ll demand that they be replaced by actual AI (which, when the technology arrives, will ultimately be cheaper for the league anyways).
Nba soft as baby shit man
Dear ref the dumb calls for nothing usually start tomorrow night on Amazon prime it’s too early for this crap
Fuck these weak ass refs. Y'all a bunch of virgin dorks
Probably shouldn't have been a tech. Probably should have been a travel.
Everyone gonna have to start taking the Jokic approach.
Can we fire all refs for every fucking sport. Just cameras and Ai
Someone had the under on Giannis
Dirty ass refs.
Soft as Charmin...
Ref had money on Giannis under
Ref: “look at me guys! I’m so cool! I shit that star down! I’m the one that disappointed you for not being able to see your star that you paid for the whole game. Look at me guys! I want all eyes on me! If I can’t make the league by golly im going to make a difference in my own way.”
Adam silver was tired of the bucks not using dame right and let the refs know what had to be done
That didn't look much like taunting to me, just his momentum taking him right into Stewart, with a little emotion added in ... and it wasn't such a great dunk either.
Nothing wrong with taunting, wtf is this pussy shiy
I said it a million times last year and I'll keep saying it until everyone catches on:
NBA officiating makes total sense if you assume the refs are involved with gambling.
You are t acting like a robot enough. No god damn emotion.
At this standard, Shawn kemp wounda been kicked out the league. The nba needs to control these refs
Oh shit, is Tim Donaghy back?
It’s like their prepping us for how fucked the refs will be in playoffs
Honestly, the NBA owes Giannis a public apology for shit like this.
Stewart is no slouch and definitely would throw hands. Maybe that’s why? But all I can say is that it’s extremely disappointing to see him get ejected for this. Especially at home with 9min left in the fucking 3rd smh
Excuse me but how many steps can you take after picking up ur dribble?
lol. basketball….
You can beat a persons teeth out in hockey but can flex and grit after a tough play in the nba
Taunting aside, how the everliving F is that not a travel?
There has to be accountability for something like this. How could you possibly rid yourself of adrenaline for the competitiveness to leave your body a second after using it to dunk like that. It's just not realistic.
I gotta admit….I’m pretty tired of NBA players committing obvious fouls and follow that up by auditioning for some drama queen prize. The NBA refs are confronted by players after almost every call. I watch college wrestling and not WWF crap for a reason. For $40M / yr. Giannis can act like an adult.
