Asking for a “friend”, would it be weirder to have a crush on one of the creators, or one of the characters? (Only adult versions of the characters.)

I've admitted my crush on Trey Parker all over Reddit for a year now, and nobody has (yet) felt compelled to tell me that's weird. As long as we don't stalk, harass, or obsess over them, celebrity crushes are okay... and I devoutly deem Randolph Severn Parker III to be a very respectable choice for famous fantasy.

He's brilliant! Earnest and honest, witty and wise, Trey's just so fuckin' awesome, you guys! So, yeah, I love him a little bit for all the amazing ways his wonderful work has made me feel.

Neither really imo. If someone/somethings attractive to you that's just how it be (unless they're talking about the kid version of the characters in which case they need some holy water)
