Anyone know of a brand/model that has this feature? If you’re not familiar, you can create a compass with your watch by aligning the hour hand with direction of sun. Halfway between the hour hand and 12 is the direction South ((his applies when you are in northern hemisphere). When you have a rotating bezel with N,E,S,W demarkations, you can then easily create a compass. I want Arabic numerals on the watch dial. Please advise.

The Seiko Alpinists and Tortoises are the watches that come to mind first as having compass bezels (one internal, one external).

It's called a compass bezel. If you search for that you'll find quite a few, just make sure that it's a rotating one, there are some that have fixed compass bezels that are just for looks.

Seiko 5 sports SKZ211 landshark (internal rotating compass) bezel.

Seiko turtoise (external rotating compass bezel)

Seiko 5 sports srp663, srp669, srp661

Seiko srpd31

Some are discontinued but you might find them on ebay or watchrecon.

There's also an analog timex with a built in compass in the expedition family.
