Is it perhaps somewhat narcissist? Sure. But apparently the profits are going straight to Akron. Of course many on this thread may not know this, which is kind of important - if he opened this museum for his own profit, that's something. But if it's basically just a fundraiser for his hometown that uses his name and fame, I have no problem with that at all. Maybe he needs better PR.

And the truth is... ok, sure, maybe he's a narcissist to some extent or another. But there's never really been any meaningful scandal around LeBron.

I would imagine, for instance, a lot of the people criticizing him on this thread love Kobe, who basically is a rapist. I'd much rather have a narcissist that helps his hometown with his narcissism than a rapist.

It's great to think that I might be able to indirectly help some people by buying one of his signature shoes. Maybe that's not a good excuse to buy shoes...maybe? But I honestly think so and I'll probably buy a pair of his sneakers in the future.
