There's a famous saying in Brazilian football: "there are things that only happen to Botafogo".

On days like these you can definitely see where that comes from

Botafogo is literally pulling off an Arsenal right now. They can’t take advantage of their one game to spare, and they’ve lost 2 consecutive 3-4 thrillers. It would be very shameful if they squander what was once a double digit gap.
