Honestly only people that are victims from human generated misinformation (Trump supporters and viewers of far right media for example) will be victims of AI generated misinformation. If you're sending photos and stories for people that don't fact check it's easy to convince them anything.
Yeah, I would agree that people who don't fact-check what they see on the media, especially social media, are more susceptible to misinformation and manipulation. Unfortunately, I think the number of people that don't have the skills, or the inclination, is vast given Mobile reachability.
