Looking up the serial number, its from 1916.
Kinda crazy to think that this was just a regular item. 50 years later “hey look at this old iPhone xr I got inherited”

Very nice. Chain is likely 14K as well. I have similar. Buy a display dome and hang the watch in it on your mantlepiece, if you are lucky enough to have one of those too!
