I don't think Mac Jones is very good. However he's at least good enough to be a top backup, fringe starter.

I've never seen any evidence that Zappe is more than mediocre backup.

Why they bench Mac for Zappe in these moments never makes sense to me.

This isn't college, Zappe not some rough Uber talented rookie, and you're 2-7 now 2-8.

Just stick with one of your average QBs and finish the year out.
