How do I leverage my software engineering background? (alien.top)

Background: 10 years of professional software development experience. Employed as a staff SWE at Google. MS and BS in comp sci. Already did the deep tech startup thing a few times as an early employee. Mostly working in distributed systems infrastructure, storage, operating systems, and data bases.

I’m looking for something to do 10-20 hours a week outside of my day job. I could sell websites or a build a SaaS, but neither of those really leverage the my strong technical skillset. Any ideas?

You’re issue us that you only want to work 10- 20 hrs a week. Too many people read “4 hour workweek” probably the easiest thing you can do is buy an existing Saas and upgrade it.
