A) Chris Paul is a whiny cheap shot artist.

B) NBA officiating is almost as credible as the WWE and AEW!

He was protecting the ball.

I’m not saying it wasn’t dirty. It very well could have been some evil decision. We will never know.

But if you look at where the ball is moments before CP3 gets to it, you see that Mike Conley is right there too, in a straight line race to grab the ball. Paul gets to the ball first, and turns his body to protect the ball.

It’s a pretty instinctual thing to get the ball away from the other team’s players when you’re chasing down a loose ball. He’s credited for being one of the smartest players in the nba, so why can’t we believe that he turned his body to protect the possession, and instead devise these little theories that he’s trying to end Mike Conley’s career?
