I saw South Park was getting put on paramount and I got excited since I have that so I can finally watch full episodes instead of just clips. But I’m just confused why they changed Stan, Kyle, Cartman, and Kenny. Can anyone explain?

I haven't seen the episode yet, but I'd bet money that the comment was a reference to the episode itself and meant as a joke.
If you can’t don’t like the fact the Cartman, Kenny, Stan and Kyle are now women of color…then maybe YOUR’E the problem.
