Has anyone install/run GPT4All on Ubuntu recently. I am very much a noob to Linux, ML and LLM's, but I have used PC's for 30 years and have some coding ability. I tried GPT4All yesterday and failed. I can get the package to load and the GUI to come up. Whenever I download a model, it flakes out and either doesn't complete the model download or tells me that the download was somehow corrupt. I did some investigation on the internet and it looks like the downloaded model files are sitting in a folder called Home/.local/share/nomic.ai/GPT4ALL. The model files are gguf. I dont know where the files ought to be, and why they are in this location. What do you think is going on? Is there a path variable I need to change? Apologies for the noob questions.
