I looked at the documentation but not able to grok it.

it's basically a set of simple but useful tools for creating/maintaining notes (or other files) based on a strict convention for filenames

It helps you take notes. Each note is a file and has a strict naming convention, while it encourage you to make the filename as descriptive as possible. It’s sort of like org-roam, but without the need of a database. Works well together with dired.
