This does look funny but I am pretty sure Embiid just shifted his weight into his left shoulder after the attempted charge cause he thought he‘d go into a helping defender. Embiid does flop quite a bit but I‘ll give him the benefit of the doubt on this one.

The defender flopped. He didn’t have anyone to absorb the contact. Anyone watching the Sixers this year can tell that there is a clear emphasis to playing through contact.
