So... I've been using Telegram FOSS way too long without realizing it's a dead app. I'm now checking Forkgram, but i saw several reports of people getting their accounts limited. Is there any other version worth considering?

Thanks!

I've been using Forkgram for about a year, no issues with accounts so far

I use forkgram on fdroid, seems to not have telemetry

I think you are right, otherwise fdroid themselves would put it in their non-free warnings list.

Nagram or Momogram, or Mercurygram which is a fork of Telegram-FOSS. none are on f-droid though, just github releases

Used forkgram but once I tried Nagram I couldn't go back.

Once installed you can follow their official telegram channel and update it that way.

Not being in fdroid, I'm not sure it doesn't have tracking libraries from Google :(

Mercurygram is in fdroid... But i think it's also dead, last release in Sept 2024.
