So I have a Speemaster '57 with the steel bracelet - love it. However in the short I've had the bracelet for it, the bracelet looks like I've worn it for years. Guess I'm hard on my watches. lol

Now I know typically the consensus is you often don't want expensive luxury watches polished/refinished because all the marks show the life of the watch, etc. - and I'd agree. However, what's the consensus on the bracelets? Does the same school of thought apply? I'd never have the watch refinished but I'd like to probably some day have the bracelet cleaned up. Is that any kind of watch faux pas?
