Is there a good way to make sure your writing converts to texts with minimal mistake in line breaks and strange bullet point formatting? (alien.top)

I write in cursive using the medium calligraphy template. My hand writing is pretty good. Totally legible to human eyes. I don’t expect the machine to get everything, but when I convert to text it seems less than spectacular. It puts in bullet points in places and has strange line breaks. Is there something I’m missing?

The handwriting to text is less than stellar for sure. For some, it works flawless, but seems to be a common issue for many still.
