lmfao is this it? He didn't finish the sentence?

RG3, you didn't tell us why.

[–] Gazzarris@alien.top 1 points 1 year ago

This is par for the course for Bob. His attention to detail, whether it comes to analysis, sliding, or reading defenses, has always been in question.

[–] Faucet860@alien.top 1 points 1 year ago

My one issue with Allen is announcers love him too much. Writers do rip him apart. But man Chris collinsworth wants to have his baby

[–] insertdankmeme@alien.top 1 points 1 year ago (4 children)

Josh Allen throws interceptions?!? Why hasn't the media alerted me?

[–] Alfakennyone@alien.top 1 points 1 year ago

Why hasn't the industry alerted me

The alert was intercepted

[–] JesusChristSupers1ar@alien.top 1 points 1 year ago (1 children)

“Hello,

This is an industry alert. Did you know Josh Allen throws a lot of interceptions?

Thank you,

This has been an industry alert”

Nobody is talking about Dak's interceptions because he isn't throwing many interceptions. People talked about Dak's interceptions when he had the most interceptions in the league despite missing nearly a good chunk of the season. People are now absolutely talking about Allen's interceptions and have been quite literally since Week 1. RG3 is a blowhard man lol.

[–] Zeee_NightMan_Cometh@alien.top 1 points 1 year ago (1 children)

1/2 of this sub legitimately believes it's a race issue, absolutely baffling.

remember when they said Josh Allen was better than Lamar Jackson lmfao

[–] BakingSoda1990@alien.top 1 points 1 year ago

Lamar Jackson is the best QB in that draft class!

They don’t actually think that they just don’t like black QBs.

[–] Krunklock@alien.top 1 points 1 year ago (1 children)

They do talk about his INTs...but then you ask yourself, which QB would you rather have on your team?

Gimme Dak 100%

[–] yonas234@alien.top 1 points 1 year ago

Uh people have. Isn't the knock on Dak he doesn't always take over games against good teams anyways? I haven't seen much about him being an INT machine.

This sounds like recent twitter saying "I hope you criticize DC films as hard as the Marvels(eyeroll emoji)" when people constantly have bashed DC films.

[–] Buds_Wiser@alien.top 1 points 1 year ago

At this point RG3 tweets should be treated the same as any other shitpost that gets deleted after 5 minutes

[–] UdUb16@alien.top 1 points 1 year ago

I've seen way more talk about Josh's turnover than Daks....

[–] wagoncirclermike@alien.top 1 points 1 year ago (1 children)

That’s all they talk about, Bobert. Where have you been dude?

[–] AnEmptyKarst@alien.top 1 points 1 year ago (2 children)

Literally every talking head is going “why is no one talking about Josh Allen?” and it’s so tiring

Just say what you want to say instead of this wishy-washy “we have to have a dialogue” shit

Its pretty simple. Farve/Winston/Allen are all gunslingers and you live or die by the sword. Theres genuinely no reason to cry about it.

[–] A_Lion-Eating_Tuna@alien.top 1 points 1 year ago

Include Firzmagic in this list you monster

[–] PeanutButterOtter@alien.top 1 points 1 year ago

Bills fans are always screaming that McDermott and Dorsey need to be fired. Bills fans need to come back to reality. Josh Allen is the problem. He is a turnover machine. Always has been. This is not my opinion. It's a statistical fact. Josh Allen has played in a total of 114 games across college and the NFL. He has 92 interceptions.

[–] Neither_Ad2003@alien.top 1 points 1 year ago

nobody has talked about josh allen's ints before

[–] superduperm1@alien.top 1 points 1 year ago (3 children)

I know RGIII is trying so hard to turn this into a race thing, but this honestly has a lot more to do with Dak being the Cowboys’ QB than anything else. Tony Romo went through the same thing.

His biggest problem is relying on his arm strength to force the ball into tight windows. It's not a bad thing to take what the defense gives you and make the easy completion.

[–] AnEmptyKarst@alien.top 1 points 1 year ago

Does RG3 know he is a part of the industry now? If there’s a dearth of dialogue, he’s partially responsible lol.

[–] poeticspider@alien.top 1 points 1 year ago (2 children)

Josh is turnover prone. Dak is just trash. Unbiased opinion.

Sure Dak has a Walter Payton, but idk I just feel like Josh allen is classier

[–] oxiixiixo@alien.top 1 points 1 year ago

“The industry” 💀

[–] Proper-Scallion-252@alien.top 1 points 1 year ago

I like how stupid RGIII is with his Twitter takes.

He acts like there hasn't been any criticism of Josh Allen and his turnovers when the entire media turned on him after the loss to the Jets and people starting doubting his ability to get out of his own head and stop forcing stupid turnovers. It was literally covered by most major NFL media outlets.

I mean shit, Reddit was (mostly jokingly) comparing him to Carson Wentz and Jameis Winston after the Jets loss.

[–] johndelvec3@alien.top 1 points 1 year ago

Good thing a lot of people do

[–] Beahner@alien.top 1 points 1 year ago

Or Dak just gets talked about more as he wears a more hated helmet.

But let’s make it about skin color…..

[–] Hkmarkp@alien.top 1 points 1 year ago

Guess who also took a ton of heat? Romo. Comes with being America's Team'

[–] 48johnX@alien.top 1 points 1 year ago

RG3 annoying af, king of strawmanning for weird ass agendas

[–] trickshotdick@alien.top 1 points 1 year ago

Depends on how you define “industry”. If by “industry” you mean talking heads like First Take-type bullshit that’s because they only talk about certain teams. Cowboys top of the list

I haven’t heard anyone talk about Daks INTs since he lead the league despite missing games. All I’ve heard this year is about Allen so I’m not really sure what Bobby is talking about

[–] BBBBrendan182@alien.top 1 points 1 year ago (4 children)

At the major risk of inciting a flame war, I think there’s some really subtle implications being put out there by RG3 and Parsons… and I think RG3 especially knows what he’s doing.

No they don't. They did last year, when Dak led the league in interceptions. The talk about Dak isn't nearly as loud as last year.

"The Media" (as much as I hate that phrase) just wants to condense everything down to talking points that are simultaneously hyper-specific and as vague as humanly possible. Including this by RG3.

It’s RG3 , people aren’t going to like this but if you watch his takes often he wants to defend black QBs while putting white QBs in the spotlight for their mistakes

[–] DJHJR86@alien.top 1 points 1 year ago (1 children)

Griffin is employed by ESPN and is almost always on television somewhere. He is the industry.

people aren’t talking about dak’s ints this year because he isn’t throwing very many

[–] Soren_Camus1905@alien.top 1 points 1 year ago (1 children)

Where is the narrative that Josh Allen isn't being ripped for his turnovers coming from? I feel like he's been under a lot of scrutiny recently and his numbers are regularly discussed.

Reaching the AFC championship really helped Allen.

Since Josh Allen was drafted -

Cowboys are 54-37 (https://www.statmuse.com/nfl/ask/cowboys-record-since-2018)
Cowboys have 2 division titles (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/NFC_East#Division_champions) With a 2-3 playoff record and never been passed the Divisional round (https://www.pro-football-reference.com/teams/dal/playoffs.htm)

Bills are 58-33 (https://www.statmuse.com/nfl/ask/bills-record-since-2018) - Bills have played one more game than the Cowboys Bills have 3 division titles (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/AFC_East#Division_champions) With a 4-4 playoff record and one AFC Championship appearance (https://www.pro-football-reference.com/teams/buf/playoffs.htm)

I honestly expected there to be more of a gap but that shows what media perception around the Cowboys does

Dak has never produced TDs like JA, that's the difference.

The interceptions suck but I sleep fine when you look at the total TD stats and JA is always at the top there too.

[–] MYO716@alien.top 1 points 1 year ago

Allen’s turnover issues are like the only thing people talk about any time he throws a pick. And I swear it’s always RGIII bringing this up like his own network doesn’t talk about it all the time.

[–] BigBallsMcGirk@alien.top 1 points 1 year ago

Dak lead the league last year despite playing 5 fewer games.

Allen is absolutely getting criticized for his ints. He did his first 2 years. He got it as a caveat even when he was playing well. He's getting it now.

Go cheat on your wife again, RG3. It's not a conspiracy.

[–] creamOFthePIE@alien.top 1 points 1 year ago

I live for roasts after every mnf game

Ahhh.... Good ol Griffin with the same ol race baiting .... it gets tiresome.

[–] dannynolan27@alien.top 1 points 1 year ago

This just in, everybody hates cowboys. Dak was drafted into one of the most scrutinized positions in sports. Ask romo about whether he can vacation on a bye week

Why does anyone pay this race baiting moron attention

Allen and turnovers have been a thing and talking point his whole career
