Am I being gaslit? I’ve seen people talk about Allen’s interceptions every year since he was drafted. The discussion is always more so “his turnovers are worth it vs the high level talent and ceiling he has”. He also made that franchise relevant where as Dak has been solid but so was his predecessor.

I agree with the sentiment about Joshys mistakes generally getting overlooked these last few years, but the reason behind it has nothing to do with what RG3 is implying here.

Josh is 3 years younger than Dak and has taken his team to an AFC championship, and played well in the playoffs overall. 17 TDs / 4 INT in the postseason. That's the reason he's considered a better QB.

Dak is a Cowboys QB. Romo also got a lot of flak. Josh Allen is arguably the most talented QB in the league. He's white Cam Newton. But he does get shit on for being wreckless with the ball and not finishing seasons with a ring.

Josh Allen is Daunte Culpepper 2.0. He's electric, he's an outlier in every aspect, he will show a once-in-a-generation level of athleticism and brilliance that will leave your jaw dropping, but he also can singlehandedly submarine everything at any given point without provocation or warning. The Bills vs Vikings games in 2018 and 2022 are the proof.

Dak is the cowboys QB, if he doesnt win the supebowl he'll be considered a scrub. If he does they'll make golden statues. Just how it is.

Josh Allen has gotten a bit of a pass but not recently. I think most are considering him part of the problem now. I'll say this though, INT's are a qb stat but not entirely a qb problem. Some blame has to go to scheme and wr play.

I honestly think the biggest gap between perception is Josh Allen being 14 seconds away from beating Mahomes 2 years ago and Dak getting bounced pretty consistently from the playoffs.

The Cowboys haven't beaten a team with a winning record, lost the Cards, and got completely STOMPED by the 49ers.

Their best 'win' has been almost beating the Eagles. And my son pointed out that besides the two almost scores (where Dak had the ball) that Dak completely missed, made the wrong throw, or took a sack 4 different times in the red zone. Dak's INTs are over-talked. Dak's poor decisions in key situations are not.

I have never heard that used with Cowboys, and to be fair they match the Dolphins pretty well. And all of sports media has talked about the Phins being 0-3 against teams with winning records.
