Hey guys,

I’ve built a portfolio/landing for my tech consulting agency. I have the basics up, a landing explaining our services, a blog library with blogs about tech and business mostly (about 10-15 blogs currently). A contact form and a live web chatbot.

I’d like to start atleast improving my chances to get traffic or improve my SEO. Can anyone help with some advise or other core features I could include to help with getting sales/clients?

Thanks!

Make sure your Google Business profile is setup properly. Encourage previous clients to give you a review there and post those on your site. Offer them a swag bag or something like that for positive reviews. When I did IT vendor work in the corporate world, survey results were everything and our bonuses were tied to them.

Reach out to a few other known tech blogs to write some guest articles for them or appear on podcasts, but make sure your site is linked somewhere on their page as part of the agreement.

Other techies don’t buy your services, just remember you have to impress the suits and give them good ROI, so reflect that in all your content.

Write lots of original high quality content, and post consistently.

There are some tricks that I've learned along the way that speed up the process. Any article you want to write, you can start by doing a voice memo on your phone and then running it through software that will convert it to text. I find it easier than using voice recognition on my phone because sometimes I'll talk for 10 minutes straight.
