I am going skiing in a few months and I am not sure what watch is best for it. Unlike diving, flying or racing there is no specific watch for snow sports. I have a budget of £300-£1000, I was picturing something along the lines of a Rolex Explorer ii (obviously cheaper) but if you have any better ideas for types of watches let me know. The current collection consists of Hamilton Khaki Auto, Tag Heuer Aquaracer (nearly, coming next month), Casio F91-W, Casio G-Shock Hodinkee Ed Sheeran and a Withings Steel Hr (not the regular type of watch on this subreddit). I usually use the Withings but it often plays up in the cold, so I what a reliable mechanical watch that works great in Snow and looks stunning.

I think the G-Shock is an excellent idea unless your main interest is apres ski at the lodge. Then a mechanical watch is the way.

F91-W. It's low profile to fit well under your jacket cuff/gloves, it's strap will break before it breaks your wrist in a fall, and if you do damage it you won't be upset.
