How do I go about asking for a loan for a business proposal from a bank? Also what credentials would I need. My credit score is about 740 and am only looking for 7-9k. Steady income and always keep about 1k in my account. How likely am I to get the loan? Thank you!

I would say good chances also depends on how long you’ve been at your current job and other debt you may have. All banks can be different goodluck!

Is private lending an option?

If you've got steady income you might be better off just saving the money yourself. Not a lot of commercial lenders are going to get excited about a $9,000 loan.
