My zenith was getting serviced, so I was wearing my Eta based Carl F. Bucherer for a few months straight. The ETA annual calendar / chronograph is a great piece of kit. But after a month, you start to notice how it looses or gains time every week or so.

Upon getting the Zenith back and wearing it for a week I came to really appreciate the accuracy and beauty of the El Primero movement. It's a heavier watch, and I started to really appreciate how solid and well built it is.

I know i could just google "historical movements" but I'd love to hear your guys opinions about other companies that have movements that just "feel" good to wear.

Omega 321 for obvious reasons. The other legendary movement I would cite is the JLC 920 which powered the Holy Trinity sports watches for decades.

The ETA 7750 is a lot better designed than the El Primero, it would be perfect if it wasn't so thick.
