They beat the Chiefs the following year and were 13-3. Maybe if this year happened last year I would believe it, but this just seems like a silly article that started with a premise and worked backwards. If anything, I think getting dominated by Cincy at home in the playoffs last year hurt worse than the 13-second game.

I just assumed they hadn't gotten over that 4 year period where they went to every super bowl, and have absolutely nothing to show for it.
Yep, It was the Chiefs that beat the Bills on Monday.
My god NFL media is so reactionary
It’s a bad roster outside of two offensive players, with a bad coach who’s scheme is “Josh Allen please save us.”
McDermott is by far one of the most overrated coaches in football and I’ve been saying this for a few years. He should have been canned after 13 seconds. Josh Allen is the only qb in the nfl currently even close to Mahomes, but he can’t do much when he only has one really good target and a bunch of jags.
Rumor has it he’s lost the locker room 80-20!
They had their chance to take down a dynasty and become one, they failed.
Lol… last winter at what was one of the coldest games ever played at soldier Field, bills fans inundated the stadium. I’ve been to hundreds of bears games in the last 40+years, going to war with Packer fans, snowball fights, real fights in the young days! But I have never seen a group, so pretentious and insufferable as the bills fans I encountered, we were the worst team in the league last year, talk about punching down! Well 1985 is a lot more recent than never…. And you guys got officially cursed by me last winter(like Thomas Shelby, I do have the power to lay curses)….. and look at you now!! LOL LOL…… window shut! You’ll never win a Super Bowl and next time you guys visit soldier Field, I won’t have a child with me and me and my fellow Bears fans can give you a proper Chicago welcome. I saw my bears win a Super Bowl in 85. Then, later, watched you guys lose four!!!!! Hahahahaha……remember, you will never win the Super Bowl.
The Bills decision to squib kick the kickoff with the Chiefs having multiple timeouts was stupid
There is the correct answer. Dumb AF.
National sports media is trash and makes up shit all the time
How many coaches do the Bills need to part with before it becomes even more obvious where the problem lies?
I've said it before... The 13 seconds special teams coach was scapegoated , Frazier was scapegoated, Daboll left and now Dorsey has been scapegoated.
Seriously. There has only been one commonplace here. McDermott.
It’s not a mystery why the Bills are struggling. It’s turnovers. Allen lead the NFL in turnovers last year, is leading it again this year and this year is 4 away from his total last year already. Every game they lost had significant turnovers.
Part of it might be scheme, and some of it is not his fault (like ball going through Davis’ hands) but if he doesn’t start protecting the ball consistently they won’t advance through the play-offs. They will be that team that always is in contention but never get over the hump.
This isn’t the 90s anymore where every QB had double digit turnovers every year. Teams just don’t turn it over this much anymore and it’s very hard to win games with that many turnovers and that starts with the QB.
Wrong, a couple Bills fans just the other day said the 47-17 smoke show against the patriots in the wildcard the game, right before the Chiefs and 13 seconds, completely makes it okay.
You know what changed after the 13 seconds game. The fucking coordinator lol. And the one they got is the one they just fired.
Who ever is playing the Bills in the next 3 games better watch their ass.
They’re about to take the ping pong tables out of the locker room.
That team has talent and if you piss in their Cheerios like this their going to come out and swing.
I’m glad it’s not my dolphins.
It’s amazing that the defense is holding up despite losing white and Milano..arguably two of their best players. Poor Dorsey got the boot for Allen’s turnovers
