Hello folks,

Decided to post this maybe as an illuminating example of foolishness that warrants its own post.

As a part of my style upgrade I ordered a watch online to collect, but forgot that I have baby-sized wrists and that this is indeed something that should definitely be tested physically. The staff at the store adjusted the links for me but only afterward told me that adjusting the size/links renders the 30 day open purchase null and void.

Is this hilariously oversized for me? Am I better off selling it? I'm leaning towards it. Or trying with Bambi eyes if I can exchange it to something that actually fits my 17cm (by the wrist bone) wrist.

Check if there are micro adjustments on the clasp. Also makes no sense that they removed three links and "can't adjust further"...

Exactly, I have not found this exact model on the citizen site, but pretty much every similar watch I checked on their site has at least 3 links on either side that can be removed.

Posting some pictures here upon request. Can you tell me what you see, wise one? Maybe I just need to go to another jeweler/store.

You can always get a different strap if it is still too loose and you like the watch -- leather, NATO, etc... . I think that watch would look great on a NATO

Thank you. I hadn't even considered that.

This angle will make it look a lot bigger. Take a picture of yourself wearing it in the mirror to show yourself how others actually see it on your wrist. It’s not as big you think.

Also a strap that isn’t metal will make it look smaller too, you can buy straps $20-30 online, most come with the tool to swap them, it’s easy enough for you to do yourself with no experience.

Looks fine honestly. But wrist shots are not that useful. Take a mirror photo instead so we can see your whole body.

Just start doing some push ups and bicep curls and you'll be fine in a month or three.

I wasn't aware that doing exercises could so greatly expand the bone density of my wrists! Thanks!

Looks fine to me.

Big watches are supposed to be big.

As long as you feel comfortable, the Watch Is fine, and looks quite good

Problem is that I don't quite feel comfortable, or maybe I'm just so inexperienced. Showing another picture which hopefully shows how loosely it fits. Notice the gap there. Or am I being dramatic?
