Have a extra couple dollars to spend so I'm planning on buying a G-shock and a Seiko presage with a metal strap. for the presage I am also going to get a leather strap and a silicone one so i can have four different watches in total.

Is this a good idea?

Sakurawatch for those two choices since they’re Japanese. Best prices from Japan, fast shipping, no tax based on your choices.

Note Japanese references are slightly different from US.

The best deals around are Ebay auctions on old quartz watches, like G-Shocks. If you wait to place your bid and snipe you can get a crazy good deal. Ebay is also a cesspit for fake Seikos known as frankenwatches or Mumbai specials though, never buy from India and I'd avoid older Seikos and other vintage watches in general on Ebay without knowing what to avoid
