@lemmy I was just going to go on Lemmy and it says my account is banned until the 27th. I clicked on the email thing to see if maybe there was an email with some sort of re (mastodon.social)

@lemmy I was just going to go on Lemmy and it says my account is banned until the 27th. I clicked on the email thing to see if maybe there was an email with some sort of reason and it said my account is being verified but then I checked my email and found nothing. Would you mind letting me know what or why or what?

It's not a good idea to put your mail out in the wild, you can be victim of loads of spam.

You have to search yourself in the mod log. Shitty that's the only way, but yeah.

A lot of the times i'll just be flat out banned from a place and not know until three days later.
