[–] Outrageous-Abies-273@alien.top 1 points 11 months ago

This man is tired of being clamped by old-ass Al Horford.

[–] BagRight8939@alien.top 1 points 11 months ago

he probably just didn’t have time to watch the banchero game winner so he doesn’t realize it’s in fact the magic

[–] dank-kush@alien.top 1 points 11 months ago

2nd round exit mentality

[–] LuckysBestMan@alien.top 1 points 11 months ago

Embiid has been on record saying this isn’t a rivalry when the Celtics always kick the sixers ass so this isn’t a surprise

[–] sirvey23@alien.top 1 points 11 months ago

Dillon brooks is gonna take this personally

[–] AbbreviationsHot4482@alien.top 1 points 11 months ago

The CTE from all those falls finally kicking in 💔

[–] JG951519@alien.top 1 points 11 months ago

Calling them the best team in the league and saying they always kick your ass isn’t the best mentality to have lol

[–] Content_End_5183@alien.top 1 points 11 months ago

I genuinely believe Embiid has actual nightmares of the Celtics at least once a week.

[–] Prestigious-Rock201@alien.top 1 points 11 months ago

Get this loser off my team dawg. Time to build around maxey

[–] vanderdark@alien.top 1 points 11 months ago

Lol the west is so much better. 3 teams better than the Celtics over here

[–] mrreported@alien.top 1 points 11 months ago

What's happening with the comments here lmao

[–] Daconvix@alien.top 1 points 11 months ago

This is gonna be funny to look back at when they eliminate him again

[–] Band_@alien.top 1 points 11 months ago

This clip has all you need to know about why Embiid can’t beat the Celtics in the playoffs lmao.
Dude has a mental block vs them

[–] _coed_@alien.top 1 points 11 months ago (1 children)

bro was literally just the one seed, really got no faith in his own team

[–] Alternative_Rest7580@alien.top 1 points 11 months ago

If he said the Sixers are better you’d be clowning him for that instead

[–] Suitable-Water-8019@alien.top 1 points 11 months ago

Just like he is the most valuable player of the league

[–] Chinbie@alien.top 1 points 11 months ago

How dare the 76ers lose this game in their homecourt and the thing is Brown and Porzingis isnt playing there... I hope Embiid can now realize that he and Maxey isn't enough for them to win a championship

[–] Nsfwaccount123xd@alien.top 1 points 11 months ago

Disrespectful to Denver

[–] Bballopinion@alien.top 1 points 11 months ago (1 children)

Embiid feels like the KD 2011-2015 generation. Wouldn’t be surprised if he joins the Celtics at some point

[–] guanogato@alien.top 1 points 11 months ago

Embiid has embraced Philly wayyyyy more than KD ever embraced OKC. He loves that place. Feels like a totally different thing to me.

And now that Philly looks completely changed for the better from Simmons / Harden I think it’s just him being honest but not him being frustrated at his situation.

[–] Ramu_1798@alien.top 1 points 11 months ago

"It's not a rivalry. They always kick out asses 🤷‍♂️" - Joel Embiid.

[–] JaylenBrownFlow@alien.top 1 points 11 months ago

joel knows what is up

[–] joebos617@alien.top 1 points 11 months ago (1 children)

Boston is Joel Embiid's daddy

[–] jharbiid@alien.top 1 points 11 months ago

Pretty crazy embiid is the first player to play with a grandfather and great uncle tbh

[–] Acework23@alien.top 1 points 11 months ago

He is already trying to lose and make excuses, what a great MVP player

[–] hopopo@alien.top 1 points 11 months ago

What is his opinion on who got robbed the most for MVP title?

[–] mares8@alien.top 1 points 11 months ago

Celtics won without KP and Brown?? Ouch no wonder Embiid has PTSD

[–] Common-Wedding-7264@alien.top 1 points 11 months ago

People shitting on Embiid for this are dorks

[–] Dame2Miami@alien.top 1 points 11 months ago

Proceeds to list a bunch of excuses and then says “no excuses”... MVPiid can only lose to the best lol.

[–] burner7221@alien.top 1 points 11 months ago

I mean it’s no lie. The East is in the Celtics control barring injuries or a blockbuster trade boosting another team.

[–] throwawayjoeyboots@alien.top 1 points 11 months ago

Corny R/nba jerking off hard to this.

[–] sharklavapit@alien.top 1 points 11 months ago

it's them and Nuggets

[–] RayCashhhh@alien.top 1 points 11 months ago

I said it on Twitter on the weekly net ratings post from Goldsberry. If Boston doesn't win a title in the next two years, serious conversations need to be held. From a roster building perspective, I'm not quite sure what more they could do.

They're like the Manchester City of the NBA (prior to City winning the UCL last year). So efficient and stacked as a team that they're boring at times. They have a set game plan that always dominates against lesser opponents, but struggles in big games because they refuse to deviate from said game plan and always come up short of their goal. Maybe this is the year they finally get over the hump, bc outside of Denver I don't see a team that they shouldn't be able to beat in a seven game series.

It’s a shame that I really despise the way he flops on the court because Embiid comes off as a really chill guy off the court. Honestly hope he goes elsewhere than Philly and wins something, deserves to at some point.
