Just recently acquired this vintage beauty.

I’ve really taken a liking to rectangular watches lately, and was on the verge of buying a Cartier Tank.

I ended up stumbling upon this Piaget and immediately fell in love. The stone dial is something I hadn’t seen before, and apparently is not something that is done much anymore in general. The hobnail 18k gold case is a thing of beauty as well.

At the time, this manual winding movement was the thinnest of its kind, coming in at just 2.2mm thick. Feels pretty cool to own a piece of significant horological history.

I’m pretty sure I’ve ignited a new passion into vintage watches after this purchase.

Beauty. Vintage Piaget is a cut above. I really wish they’d draw on their heritage and improve their modern offering.

Enjoy it in good health!
