Extremely strange to see RFK and the “make America healthy again” “movement” be presented in a way that seems to suggest they have some legitimacy and are part of the “wellness community” lol

But I’m not surprised at all to learn they’re pushing to have these worthless, privacy invading devices installed on everyone. It strongly aligns with right wing messaging. Take total personal accountability for your health, and do it by giving as much money as possible to big tech!

In the six months I spent hooked up to every health tracker I could find, feeding my morbid curiosity, I drove myself slightly crazy. Each hit of dopamine I enjoyed by getting good scores on a health-tracking app was offset by long periods of self-doubt that came from not fully understanding how to make sense of the torrent of data without my doctor’s help. I also became obsessive — checking the apps was the first thing I did in the morning and started occupying hours of my day.

So don't strap every single possible monitoring device on you on day one? Take your time and learn how they work/what they do? And maybe don't do it if you're a hypochondriac?
