Idk about Chet specifically but I feel like the Spurs will need to figure this out with Wemby: they're tall, but they're not big men. Everyone tried to make Lauri a stretch-4 and then it turned out everything about his offensive skill set and body type made him a 3, he was just as tall as a 4.
It took KP like 8 years to really fill out into a "big man" and even then he's still struggles against the real beasts down there. You'd hope Chet and Wemby would eventually evolve into that, but dudes are definitely more 3s than 4s right now.
He just had to only spin to his right and had a baby hook with his left.
Like Bomani Jones said there’s a difference between “big man” and “tall man”. Maybe this could be his version of Lebron not posting up Barea
This is why I hate todays league. Imagine Hakeem, Shaq, Shawn Kemp, David Robinson, Duncan, etc letting a 5’11 37 year old hold them up in the post
He backs him down fine. If you pay attention he starts about three foot outside the paint. Ends up about two foot in the paint. CP3 read the spin to the middle and cut it off which caused Chet to stumble and have to give up the ball. It wasn’t a strength issue. It was just CP3 making a great play by reading what was coming.

Chris Paul has a lower center of gravity, probably weighs similar and knows how to use his body.
I don't really find this that surprising. Chet is listed at 7-1 and 195 pounds, while Chris Paul is almost certainly 180 pounds himself despite being nearly a foot shorter. I'd expect Paul to be the stronger player.
Good sized booty is helpful for maintaining a good balance and center of mass.

This is why someone with a similar body, like Durant, or someone even much stronger, like Lebron, are totally fine with a turnaround J in this type of look.
