How Much Should I Have in Savings to buy car? I'm Italian and Looking to buy a used car in and drive it around italy for a while until it breaks - any advice? (alien.top)

My friends and I have been nomading and working for awhile. Our rentals are kind of remote in both places, . We originally thought we might do long term rentals of scooters but they are fairly expensive so now our plan is to buy a crappy used car in Milan in a few weeks then drive to our destination in Italy. we found good car ensurance, The question and How Much Should I Have in Savings t to buy a car, ?

Anyone ever done something like this?

Why don't you buy a reasonable used car, take care of it, and then sell it on at the end of your trip, you wasteful, thoughtless moron?

It can take a while to find a used car that is worth buying, I would start doing more research and going to look at cars now. It’s not really something you can just buy over a weekend because you’re going to have to test drive and compare a lot of really shitty cars to find a decent one. Look into whatever marketplace people sell used cars on to get an idea of price.

Why don’t you ask about it in italy subreddit. This has little correlation with digital nomading.
