So.. city gonna get minus 1150 points?

[–] showstealer1829@alien.top 1 points 1 year ago

They're going to get awarded the points of every other team in the PL for being such a sterling example of the fairness of the league

In the future:

after 100+ breach cases, city finally got 3 points deducted

[–] Aarondo99@alien.top 1 points 1 year ago (1 children)

If my maths is right, that’s 1150 points off city?

[–] islander1@alien.top 1 points 1 year ago

just roll it forward to subsequent seasons...

Everton is very very lucky the bottom 3 are almost certainly going to be relegated

If this doesn't tell you the saudis have bought the league, I don't know what does.

City have breached FFP rules numerous times and they're still "being investigated" or they couldn't find anything conclusive, but they're dead certain about Everton.

Gtfo!

You broke FFP so 10 point deduction.

Oh damn, what was FFP for again?

It's to stop clubs going into administration.

Oh......doesn't a points deduction mean we're closer to going into administration?

Yes.

It's almost like FFP has nothing to do with protecting clubs and more about protecting certain clubs.

Yes.

Doesn't that just lead to the clubs who happened to be at their peak at the time of global expansion of English football (due to technology advances and the increase in marketability) being the most prestigious clubs and the biggest earners, leaving them in a position where no one can realistically compete because who wants to play at a club with less history of success, for less money and with a lower chance of winning anything?

Shhhhhhhhh it's for your protection.

Aight next gotta be City right? then us? there's no way that everton got punished before City did

[–] seederbeast@alien.top 1 points 1 year ago

'everton poor, rich?'

'poor sir'

'deduct points. Chel, city poor, rich?'

'rich sir'

'do nothing'

[–] islander1@alien.top 1 points 1 year ago

Still waiting on City's penalties...

[–] hyrola@alien.top 1 points 1 year ago

115 charges to result in 1,150 (115 x 10) deduction for city? Everton had 1 charge. That's the logic I'm using. FYI city won't get anything BTW.

[–] InsideKiller@alien.top 1 points 1 year ago

Imagine now city will lose 1150 points

[–] Eniotnaohs@alien.top 1 points 1 year ago

Yet other big teams keep escaping any sort of punishment… u gotta wonder is it rigged

[–] Manchestarian@alien.top 1 points 1 year ago

City awarded 10 points for pure nerve

[–] GhostRiders@alien.top 1 points 1 year ago

Loving how so many people are completely disregarding that Everton ADMITTED guilt..

They cooked the books and ADMITTED it...

Now you can say the punishment is harsh but ultimately the situation is completely different to that if Man City and Chelsea..

Once again this sub shows just how hypocritical and stupid football fans are..

They cry when the PL don't punish clubs who break the rules and when a club ADMITS they broke the rules they complain about them being punished..

Now the PL has shown some balls this mean going foward if Man City and Chelsea are found guilty they also will most likely face a point penalty..

[–] 1025Traveller@alien.top 1 points 1 year ago

When will it be Man City’s turn for points to be deducted?
