Girlfriend and I are leaving our current in-office corporate positions and are accepting fully remote positions with no restriction on where we live.

What cities would you recommend for first time digital nomads?

27M + 28F Based in San Diego, CA Grew up in Midwest USA Duolingo Level Spanish Surf, hike, outdoorsy people

I know it’s probably overrated at this point, but since there were no stipulations on locations - I spent 4 months in Lisbon this year and fell in love with it. Very easy to get along, plenty of weekend trip opportunities, and still good deals to be found on food and drink if you know where to look. Just got home from a couple months in Budapest and really liked it there also.
