Lemmy App List
Chat and More
guess I'll just have to wait for this feature to be implemented in the future by the amazing developers.
EDIT: I guess there is not a work around for now. It would be really great for those who sees this post to give https://github.com/ImranR98/Obtainium/issues/2042 a thumbs up. thanks a lot!
Obtainium has its own list of apps you've added, you could just use that as a list so you don't forget about them?
yeah that could be an solution, but I have already grouped my apps in the home screen so I have download it in the future I have to group them again. I have about 200 apps downloaded and I have 50+ apps used. So it could be a lot of work. Using archive feature I could easily manage these stuff
Wow, that's a huge number!
That's a "Google play" feature AFAIK. Apps installed from fdroid, apk, aurora or epic have the same drawback.
It's really annoying, it's a very useful feature.
It was a Google Play feature (a hack built around modular apps that used App Bundles instead of APKs for distribution) that later got added into Android itself in Android 15. F-Droid supports it, you just have to have Android 15 or 16.
Edit:
I have android 16, I don't see that on the froid apps, not even the ones installed just a few days ago.
Is that a new branch of fdroid or is there a setting to enable?
Edit: actually, I use droidi-fy, so maybe it's lacking that feature.
