Sadly, it seems Klay doesn't have the explosiveness to get away from defenders anymore. He's a #3/#4 at best now. The sooner he/Warriors recognize this, the better

Yeah Klay done, he’s just about a role player.
He got about another two years in the league. Sad to see him go out this way but injuries was the culprit.

He got some good looks but most of his shots are forced and not in rhythm.
Pretty much, he gets too frustrated when he's in a slump and you can visually see it. Makes him force up bad shots.
Oh man, game of inches. That first one wasn’t actually bad but he rushed it a bit and drifted harder than he probably normally would. Pretty standard move coming off a screen tbh, defender’s hand was down too.
The 2nd if he just shot it immediately it would have been a great look, he got to the set point before the defender was even in his airspace but I guess he wanted to pump it and take a bit more time. 1000% should not have shot it after it didn’t work though.
Off these 2 plays alone it looks like he’s in his head a little and/or not quite comfortable. Pushing a bit too hard & fast, 2nd guessing decisions and then overcompensating for the hesitation.
I think the doomsaying is a little premature still, those are very symptomatic of earlyseasonitis, and Klay is a total streak player. He definitely is removed from peak Klay but I don’t think he’s cooked just yet.
What’s sad is that these are shots he used to make like 7 years ago. Dude’s washed

Those were not good shots, he needs to change up his game. Revamp his style and focus on two ball cause three ain't falling. Gotta hit 5/10 on three regular to be sg

Two contested shots that were poor decisions. Steph should have shot open 3 instead of trying to be fancy because he set Klay up for that garbage.

It’s a contract year for him and he unfortunately still thinks he’s “that dude”. He paraded those 4 rings around like he was Thanos collecting infinity stones and unfortunately nobody will ever pay him based on what used to be. He’s about to be a MLE player next season.
