Hello,

Looking for my first proper watch, 1K -> 2.5k budget, but I have particularly small wrists (basically 5”). 27mm -> max 32mm seems to be the size I can work with before it completely swamps me, but it seems like a majority of small ‘ladies’ watches are particularly showy, lots of gold or diamonds.

Are there any recommendations for more simple, small watches, more in line with a shrunken version of men’s styles?

Thank you

Nomos has 33mm

Kuoe has 34mm

Cartier has a lot of watches that will fit you.

I would recommend a Grand Seiko Quartz for women. STGF275 is a model that my girlfriend got. It’s 28mm if I recall correctly and you get Zaratsu polishing with a 9F Quartz movement with a deviation of 5-10 seconds a YEAR. If I was a woman and I wanted quality I’d go look at Grand Seiko Women’s Quartz.

Your budget is absolutely perfect for a used Seamaster Aqua Terra 30mm (231.10.30.20…), Rolex OP 30mm( 76080), or any number of Cartiers. Since it’s your “first proper watch,” ultimately I would get something that’s versatile for daily wear. Happy hunting!
