This has not been a good last few games. The two pluses from tonight I saw: Green making some shots and Lively making good reads.

We were tired and on the end of a b2b, but the Kings were flamethrowers and were going after every board and loose ball. Fox is a treat to watch.

Kings ran the absolute shit out of the Mavs in the second half on a back-to-back. The Mavs did a good job keeping up in the third, until the fourth came and they lost their legs. I think they missed every shot in the fourth.

This is what good teams do. You gotta win the games you're supposed to win. Two wins in a row against Texas lottery teams is taking care of business.

the Mavs defense is still fucking ass and its not really an individual problem like it was last year.

We have to fight harder around screens, Lively and Powell cannot be scared to foul, and just communication has to be better. How we guarded Sabonis is unacceptable.

Props to the Mavs keeping up for most of the game. The kings just kept going up and up and up and the Mavs ran out of steam. Seeing the kings compete on defense and hustle for the ball makes me very happy. We knew this teams offense was legit last year and now the other pieces are getting worked on. Luka would be so much more likeable, as an outside observer, if he didn't bitch and moan so much. Like take that energy and do something productive with it. Kyrie is still a wizard when he's on the court.
