i dont care he could have 3000 goals by now its will always be French league.i mean i know he is that good but cmon every first pick striker in last 10 years that played in psg had 25+ goals in season.
Football / Soccer / Calcio / Futebol / Fußball
Doing it on a cold night in Lorient is no small feat my dude.
Some people would do anything to put down his achievements. Was Messi’s competition this much stronger when they were putting 5 against every team in Liga ? Finishing 30 points clear of anybody but real.
Ligue 1 teams are good and they know how to defend well. Mbappe would score as many goals in any other league.
R9?
Fucking absurd that Messi had 300 goals by the age of 25 while playing in La Liga which was the #1 league for the majority of his career while legendary strikers like Ibrahimovic scored 300 by the age of 31
Playing with best players and as a CF does that.
Okay but how many goals if you include goals at practice???
Mbappe did have some luck in terms of not suffering any injuries that could have hampered him reaching this milestone as fast as he did.
I recall Messi suffering from muscle injuries at the start as he was breaking out, which really sorta prevented him from having a consistent run of games.
Unlike Mbappe, Ronaldo had a much steeper learning curve before he really established himself and was regarded as star player. In that aspect, when mbappe, broke out he was regarded as one of the top talents to ever play.
Big difference: the others did it in better leagues.
Hard to compare this.
Mbappe regardless even dominates in CL stats for his age compared to other players in the list
What’s nuts is that there were already “is Messi the best player of all time” shouts when he was mbappe’s current age.
God it’s kind of irritating how u guys constantly mention Messi with any other player. Like it’s established he’s the best ever, there’s no need to constantly compare
Sadly couldn't live up to the hype.
Yeah but what if you include goals at practice?
I can’t find it now but wasn’t it mbappe who had a kit made celebrating a goal milestone that included goals at practice? I swear that happened and I can’t find it. Feel i am going crazy.
What do you think playing against San Marino, Faroe Islands and Gibraltar is
These ESPN graphics look like early 2000s PowerPoint
and I'm all here for it
He’s so clear of that fraud CR7
Ronaldo playing as a middfielder and then a winger and still making top 5 shows how amazing he was back then, and the crazy ammount of goals after 30 too.
For me the most impressive thing about this record is that by having scored 300 goals, he's already outscored a lot of great strikers I've seen when I was younger like Trezeguet, Luca Toni, Inzaghi, Torres...
Scoring 300 goals and winning a world cup and multiple league titles is already an amazing career by most standards, but he's not 25 yet and hopefully has plenty more years.
The stat also include goals with the national team so in theory he still hasn't surpassed them, but he will obviusly do it soon
And he got extremely close to winning another WC.
What the fuck does this chart even say?
Wait, how does Lukaku have 300 goals, i know he scores loads for Belgium (50+) but where do the remaining 250 ish in the past say 12 years come from?
thats 20 goals a season
Yeah his number of goals is quite impressive, he has over 80 for Belgium but also 290 with various clubs (90 with Everton, 80 with Inter etc)
People have a lot of hate for him, but he’s been a very impactful player throughout his career.
The fact that he scored 25+ goals a season twice for both Everton and Inter and once for United, while still having respectable goalscoring numbers in his other seasons (he still managed to get 15 goals with Chelsea in 21/22, and that's his worst season in years) probably helps
I am happy that there is a polish player amongst the greatest!
He's not even a pure striker like some others on this list. Messi scoring that many as a winger for most of his career is insane.
300 goals is mind boggling he is truly a historical player already. The only thing left to see from him is that successful transition in his game when he inevitably loses that edge of explosive pace he has. If he finds a way to still be equally as effective through the years he really has the potential to join that elusive table those two sit at. Long way to go for that though.
Farmer league or not. We all know he's the Real deal.
I'm surprised Messi was #2. His first few seasons he was not a big goal scorer, it took him until year 4 before he started really banging them in.
Playing at Barcelona > playing at PSG. Don't really care for the [reasons].
Spent all of his career so far in a 2 bob league, if he wants to be truly considered anything close to goat he needs to push himself beyond playing against Brest.
Zlatan still banging in goals in 2031
best player itw rn
Wow.. Mbappe is almost 25 now. There was a time when it felt like he was 19 for a long time.
Surprised that Zlatan was 31 when he hit 300 goals.
Now show which leagues they played in. Reaching 300 goals in the Premiere League or Laliga at 27 is always gonna be more impressive than doing it at 24 in the French league.
Where's Ronaldo on this?
Big difference: the others did it in better leagues.
Hard to compare this.
