Proudly upholding the timeless Wizards tradition of doing hilarious, stupid bullshit

[–] siphillis@alien.top 1 points 2 years ago

I don't think his brain recovered from Draymond's punch.

[–] GPap-@alien.top 1 points 2 years ago

Dude really thought the clock shouldn’t be running. Holy shit, no idea how the warriors contained his stupidity for so long

[–] annoyedboy671@alien.top 1 points 2 years ago

Draymond Greene gave him CTE

[–] percy2376@alien.top 1 points 2 years ago

Just bench the guy and call it a day

[–] kins8@alien.top 1 points 2 years ago

He’s getting paid 30m a year for this

[–] ChewieSkittles53@alien.top 1 points 2 years ago

wheres draymond

[–] Appropriate-Quiet-98@alien.top 1 points 2 years ago

I thought it was a violation if it went past half court?

Or maybe I'm just wrong?

[–] DrKingOfOkay@alien.top 1 points 2 years ago

Now yall understanding why Draymond punched this fool. 🤣

[–] emc236@alien.top 1 points 2 years ago

Maybe Draymond was right about this guy.

[–] bigking-s@alien.top 1 points 2 years ago

Why is clock running down but the shot clock isnt

[–] _viixxx@alien.top 1 points 2 years ago

What possible explanation could there be for this?

[–] d0mzilla@alien.top 1 points 2 years ago

He is a really clever guy, isnt he?

[–] Easy-Body3490@alien.top 1 points 2 years ago

I love this team

[–] TwitchTVBeaglejack@alien.top 1 points 2 years ago

Not saying he was right to do it, but it does help explain another reason why Draymond punched him.

[–] Champagnepaki@alien.top 1 points 2 years ago (1 children)

He was trying to stop the clock from starting by not touching it. Refs ran the clock.

LMAO wtf bbq haha!

[–] asdfgtttt@alien.top 1 points 2 years ago

IF the wizards were smart they would recognize that they fell ass backwards into the perfect tanking roster.. they need to let this play out for a season or two and collect some high draft capital. IF they were smart.. but it looks like they got lost in the suace and want to move from poole, which means they thought that this roster was anything but exactly what it is. Kuz and Poole got evicted from their previous teams for being soft, and what did you think putting them together would do? seriously.

[–] ReasonAndWanderlust@alien.top 1 points 2 years ago

He was going for a strategy of getting the ball down the court without the clock counting down. If a basket is made before the final 2 minutes is reached then the clock stops when it does reach 2 minutes if no one has taken possession. (is that correct?)

So if he mistook the 4 minute marker number for a 3 he thought at 2 the countdown would stop and allow him to travel the court without the clock working against his team.

It has been so fascinating watching the narrative shift from ‘why would draymond punch Jordan Poole’ to ‘oh that’s why draymond punched Jordan poole’

[–] JodieFostersCum@alien.top 1 points 2 years ago (2 children)

As someone who doesn't follow basketball closely, is there any reason to make a move like this besides trying to look like a douche bag?

[–] roshanpr@alien.top 1 points 2 years ago

To waste time if you are winning the game but here Poole is down 10

As a Warriors fan, I'm loving these Jordan Fool highlights.

[–] titleywinker@alien.top 1 points 2 years ago

There’s something about not rushing with 4 minutes left in a 10 point game that makes sense to be. There should be urgency and awareness of the situation, sure, but each possession’s results matter more than just the number of possessions. There’s more than enough to make up 10 points if you execute. So being deliberate makes sense to me.

That being said, Poole is a dumbass

[–] JayVenture90@alien.top 1 points 2 years ago

I don't see this guy in the league in 5 years.

[–] TheDunkerSpot@alien.top 1 points 2 years ago

What a great year for the NBA, the fans, and its brand.

[–] worldarchitect91@alien.top 1 points 2 years ago

Shit like this happens because smart players are not as valuable to winning as skilled players. He’s still better than all of you

[–] rbozd@alien.top 1 points 2 years ago

he clearly was under the misconception that the clock shouldn't be running

Who has better baddies: Europe or China, asking for a friend.

[–] flipchinc@alien.top 1 points 2 years ago

Lol this is hilarious. Now I know why the warriors traded his ass

[–] Nooberius@alien.top 1 points 2 years ago (1 children)

The Warriors had to deal with this shit all year round last season...

Jordan Poole is that guy in school that isn't as talented as the best players, but he wants to be in the cool club really badly, so he tries to do the same things as the cool kids do, even though he fails miserably 9/10 times and that 1 time he does make it work, he thinks to himself: "yeah, I'm totally in, I'm just like them". In reality, he couldn't be further away. I'm really starting to feel sorry for him in that regard.

[–] Special_Loan8725@alien.top 1 points 2 years ago

I swear I either heard “Jordan the clock is ticking” or “wait the clock is ticking.

[–] Vendetta_2023@alien.top 1 points 2 years ago

Dumbest mofo in the NBA, and with the most punchable face

[–] jamintime@alien.top 1 points 2 years ago

Only down 10 to the Bucks is actually pretty good. No wonder he was killing time.

[–] TickTockM@alien.top 1 points 2 years ago

is this why Green punched him?

[–] ArtfulLying@alien.top 1 points 2 years ago

I'm starting to think Draymond did some permanent damage to that brain.

[–] K3TtLek0Rn@alien.top 1 points 2 years ago

He always thought it was cool but never understood why anyone actually did it. Only explanation I can think of

[–] FearfulInoculum@alien.top 1 points 2 years ago

And then complaining to the ref that the clock didn’t start right. F’n genius move.

[–] boston-celtics-ftw@alien.top 1 points 2 years ago

Why did Golden State gave him the max?

[–] fgbh@alien.top 1 points 2 years ago

Guy guarding him: "I'm going to lock him up! sees Poole doing Poole things ...Never mind."

[–] Bobblefighterman@alien.top 1 points 2 years ago (1 children)

Bro used to be a genius until Draymond knocked his brains out

[–] roshanpr@alien.top 1 points 2 years ago

Nah he was a bus rider

[–] thedevad@alien.top 1 points 2 years ago

HAHAH this perfectly sums up jordan poole

[–] wizer1212@alien.top 1 points 2 years ago

When did the wizards get him lol

[–] e_nigmaaaa@alien.top 1 points 2 years ago

This will surely be the top 1 on Shaqtin' A Fool lmao
