While his contract makes it so that the Wiz will not get anything of value for him, I firmly believe there are situations where he can still be a valuable contributor on a team for a long time, and even become a beloved player to a franchise (see Bobby Portis in MIL, Naz Reid MIN, Clarkson UTA, Monk SAC), he just needs the right situation. What teams could you see fulfilling that?

Maybe Denver. Jokic would find him wide open and get him on cuts. Just needs to buy into being a 4th or 5th option

Spurs. He needs a coach/team that will make him accountable.

the warriors

Probably a team that will let him chuck all day and doesn’t care about being competitive, like the Wizards

The Wizards are getting the #1 pick out of him, he's already in the perfect spot.

Do you think that wizards can become top team without Poole? They want to tank, so let Poole play. He plays reckless basketball and pisses off his teammates. So what? Losing is losing, might as well be entertaining about it. In the end, wizards get the restart they so desperately need and Poole might get better eventually.

Warriors, Draymond blew up the team

The one with the baddest baddies, so Miami

A team that can get through his head that he has nothing to prove and take whatever chip he’s got on his shoulder off. Relax and play your game and you’ll be just fine.

A team in china

The Wizards… y’all are tanking for a top pick

A lot of Poole theories flying around but dude has like a 4 year contract and the wizards don’t need to be good in the next 4 years. I think he’s a wizard next year and he’ll get plenty of time to remember how to play basketball.

The 2022 warriors

He's already peaked

He'd happily retire if they paid him 90% of his contract this year

Maybe the Mets?

None he sucks was bad last year and is really bad this year. He will be in the NBA the length of his contract so hopefully he turns it around.

G-League Ignite.

Please remove Naz Reid from your comparison. Naz is a baller who cares and plays hard. Poole is a jokester

Spurs Pop reconstruction project.
