I've had this for almost 2 years now. I can't say that I've experienced this in any other laptop I've owned. While I would love to get the matte screen, I can't justify it right now. I've also got a 16 on pre-order and can't wait for that.
Have you had it in a cold environment and then used it immediately? Since it is an LCD, this should fix itself, if you just turn the screen off for a couple of hours.
