can you direct me to the $2 tickets
Game analysis, highlights and everything else that is happening in the NBA.

can you direct me to the $2 tickets
Vancouver should get a basketball team, and maybe even a pro baseball team tbh
Fuck off
Don’t let anyone enjoy basketball for $2/ticket. Minimum ticket price should be $500 a pop.
Gonna go on a limb and say they would still have low attendance in Vancouver. Half the griz are injured and ja is suspended. You get a healthy team going out there every other night they will do better for attendance
At least consider moving the Grizzlies to Nashville, which is a far more lucrative, growing market. I visited Nashville a couple years back and was shocked how apathetic locals were about the Grizzlies. They’re not even the local NBA team on TV - it’s the Atlanta Hawks! Such an absolutely easy opportunity wasted.
Send the nets back to jersey plz
Ya'll can have gun slinging ja, he's your problem now
Vancouver is also a dope city. Can't speak about Memphis but Vancouver is awesome
Ja morant in Vancouver, BC would be a sight to behold
Cherry pick dumb stats and then cry about it for attention. It’s been 20+ years you stupid fucking asshole.
No. Fuck u and canada
As someone from outside nashville, take them and give us a team for Bridgestone, since that's what it was built for I believe...but as someone who's made friends with guys out of Memphis. Leave them v that city needs something...
Vancouver tried, they failed. Keep crying, ya hoser.
Move the clippers back to Buffalo
we need less canadian teams
It’s ridiculous to expect fans to pay money to see crap teams w/o the stars playing
nah
Pro sports in the U.S. need to be similar to Soccer. Suck too bad and you drop down and they bring up a new team
Memphis will never let you have them back. Sorry mane
I don't want shit to do with national treasure Dillon Brooks' abusive former partner. Jk baby we'll fix you
3 bad seasons in the past 15 years and we just deserve to lose our team? With half our team being out this year? Dumbass.
For the price of one beer at Chase Center, I could get 9 tickets to the Grizz and still have money left over.
Everyone in this thread needs to watch the documentary called “the grizzly truth” about how and why we lost the team. It’s well done and a fun piece of basketball nostalgia from that era. I promise I’m not just saying it because I am one of the super fans that is in it. We lost the team because we had individual businesses owners and the Canadian dollar took a nose dive during the formative years which made it really hard financially on the owners. Also we got fucked out of having a top 5 pick for several years and our management blew it by drafting a guy who clearly didn’t want to be here. Yeah Francis should have been an adult about it and gave the city a chance but still, why did we draft him? Fan attendance was never the main issue at all. We showed up pretty fucking well to support a losing product right up until the lockout anyways. That was when overall sentiment towards the league took a nose dive everywhere and the league lost its main box office draw (that would be MJ for the young ones).
Lmao then Ja wouldn’t be able to have his guns tho
That’s what Tennessee does. Team stealers.
Houston :handshake: Vancouver
I agree! Fuck Memphis
Eat a d. This is all memphis has and it’s an extremely poor majority minority city.
You have a ton to do in Vancouver.
Lucky!!!! Other teams are selling for 50 or more for the cheapest tickets
Vancouver wasn't given a chance, man. NBA let a similar thing happen in SD, the Clippers left after only a few years, and a whopping 0 playoff appearances.
Ideally, I think the NBA could support a team in both Seattle and Vancouver, and it would be great for the Blazers too. I feel like the owners don't want to split the pie up more unless there's going to be a huge boost in revenue in doing so, however. They'd rather have like a European division than add another 2 teams in NA.
I wonder what position the Raptors play in this. Since the Grizz left, they changed their color scheme to match that of Canada's team essentially, and the 'We The North' branding is generally Canadian, rather than just for Toronto. I imagine they like being the only team in Canada, though I wish they just went back to purple.
I don't think the Grizzlies are moving anytime soon, but I hope Vancouver gets a new team, and the nba expands in general.
Based
those nosebleed seats arent better than watching at home on a 4K TV
Move the Lakers back to Minneapolis
fuck right off
I hate to say it because I'm a raptors fan but NBA players would rather play on an American team than a Canadian team.
THANK YOU. As an Albertan, having to root for Toronto hurts, I want the Grizzlies back.
Pretty sure that the general conclusion is that the team was deliberately mismanaged and sabotaged so that it could eventually be moved to an American market.
When Orca Bay was shopping the team, Michael Heisley promised to keep it in Vancouver, but as soon as the sale was approved he began the process of moving the team.
We all know there was financial issues that contributed to moving the team, but I think from the start, even though the league and owners were willing to expand in to Canada, as soon as the team started it was mismanaged into the ground by Stu Jackson, which set the stage for it's eventual relocation.
Abdur-Rahim and Bibby were decent picks, but drafting Bryant Reeves was a dumb choice. Drafting Steve Francis was an even dumber choice, and probably the nail in the coffin.
$2 tickets is madness
Costs more to take the bus here
Grizzlies atmosphere as recent as a few years ago was really good. The prices might be more of a reflection of the economy there
Put a team back in San Diego
Ja Wick says no.
I caught this documentary on a flight recently: The Grizzlie Truth
It was well done - I didn't know how gory that move to Memphis was for the team. Worth a watch if you can find it.
I'd support the move back if Memphis isn't showing the love.
I don't know how Memphis got a pro team.
For anyone not familiar with the backstory...The Grizzly Truth is a good doc about the whole saga from the POV of a Vancouver local
Didn’t Vancouver have attendance issues as well?
Whether it’s via relocation or expansion, the NBA needs teams in Seattle and Vancouver again
Co-sign. I’d stay a warriors fan because that’s my home town team but as an expat in Vancouver I’d definitely be first in line for season tickets.
Ja might get into actual trouble for the gun stuff here tho.
Memphis Tennessee lol what a garbage city in a garbage state. Yeah get them out of there
Lol wtf this is wild
Ja is not gonna like those pesky Canadian gun laws & regulations
