Well, it does have a battery, it's just charged by light. It will eventually need replacement.

That’s really sharp. What’s the model if you don’t mind me asking?
Having regarded Citizen as a meh brand, I changed my mind when I fell in love with their 0100 line watches. This kinda resembles that, and I love the eco drive thing
I have a Citizen Garrison BM8180-03E. It seriously punches way above its weight, super light and reliable. Amazing legibility and accuracy, this is what I recommend to friends who want to forray into field watches.
I have two eco drives, and I love em!
It's a beautiful piece. As a matter of fact, I'm gonna buy one real soon.
But those Chronomaster ain't really that cheap.
Yeah, for the same price you could get a quartz Casio, the tools to open the back, and enough batteries to last until the heat death of the universe.
Or you could get a Casio Oceanus which is basically a citizen eco drive plus a bunch of features
Everything a watch needs to be
Have more than a dozen watches but a Citizen EcoDrive military styled watch is fav everyday wear also very affordable. Set and forget. Gets positive comments too Highly recommend
Great picture man.
have a radio controlled citizen , it gets a lot of compliments just off looks but besides that it is by far the most accurate watch you can own these days
