Argentina is such an unlikable team

[–] Rusti-dent@alien.top 1 points 2 years ago

Wow, now that’s a bad call. Not even a warning in that one. Simply simulation from de Paul.

[–] rsetzerlfcynwa@alien.top 1 points 2 years ago

When Joelinton turned back towards him against the momentum of his body in the close up slo-mo, I was thinking "Oh yea, you can see he's pissed and is about to pop him with a hand/forearm/elbow in the chops"....and then nothing. De Paul is a clown. You can see what the ref thought he saw (I guess), but the VAR must be on a lunch break or something.

"Check complete." (But Does nothing)

[–] Necessary_Ad6762@alien.top 1 points 2 years ago

this is absurd, but this is south american football in every single piece. CBF and COMNEBOL is a joke.

[–] Paulinho178@alien.top 1 points 2 years ago

Argentinians are the dirtiest scumbags in football. Diving, choking, punching, Name it all and an Argentinian will be there.

[–] Kind-Departure1058@alien.top 1 points 2 years ago

I thought Jordi Alba had fuckery and cunternomics down to a tee like a shirt but De Paul takes the cup like John Kennedy in the Copa final

[–] birdinbrain@alien.top 1 points 2 years ago

De Paul is an unlikable little baby. Not even Brazilian and I’m livid

[–] OkTower4998@alien.top 1 points 2 years ago

Thought Wales got the worst ref last night until I see this one lol

[–] jukazem@alien.top 1 points 2 years ago

That shouldn’t even be a yellow for Joelinton

[–] Loud-Platypus-987@alien.top 1 points 2 years ago

That Argentinian team really is unlikeable. They cause so much chaos then hide behind messi’s image.

[–] Hoppit124@alien.top 1 points 2 years ago

Holds on to Joelinton for long time by his arm he shrugs him off him, red wtf is this ref?

[–] Chemikaliusz@alien.top 1 points 2 years ago

Argentinian scumbag.

[–] MarcSlayton@alien.top 1 points 2 years ago

There was no way that was deserving of a red card. De Paul obviously play acting hurt when he was the one holding hands with Joelinton without even buying him dinner first.

[–] DaddyBizkits@alien.top 1 points 2 years ago

That were diabolical

[–] bestgoose@alien.top 1 points 2 years ago

Same old Argentina

[–] 47aye@alien.top 1 points 2 years ago

Atleti player diving like a bitch, what's new.

Shocking decision from the ref

[–] RockShockinCock@alien.top 1 points 2 years ago

Opinion of De Paul went down more than De Paul in this match.

[–] juniorjatay@alien.top 1 points 2 years ago

Referee was gifted a Messi signed jersey after the game.

[–] GrumpyOldFart74@alien.top 1 points 2 years ago

That’s disgraceful - in my book that should have been a yellow for Joelinton (he shouldn’t have shoved back, no matter the provocation) and 2 yellows for the cheating twat De Paul - for the grabbing of Joelinton and then the blatant play acting of clutching his face

[–] ummmyeahi@alien.top 1 points 2 years ago

That’s a yellow for both players at the most.

[–] 29517@alien.top 1 points 2 years ago

De Paul is such a piece of shit fuck this guy

[–] thenotorious_ronaldo@alien.top 1 points 2 years ago

And people still argue that Argentina doesn’t get special treatment.

[–] mosefish@alien.top 1 points 2 years ago

That's an awful call.

From the replay it looked like Joelinton was trying to smack away the hand De Paul was grabbing him with.

[–] maxbang7@alien.top 1 points 2 years ago

If the ref did his Job Joelinton wouldnt have reacted in the fist place.

That shit happens so often

[–] njp6969@alien.top 1 points 2 years ago

2022 WC is back baby

[–] Nimonic@alien.top 1 points 2 years ago

600 comments and no mirrors? That host doesn't work for me.

[–] jaguass@alien.top 1 points 2 years ago

Shithouse dirty football at its peak.

[–] Fmartins84@alien.top 1 points 2 years ago

CONMEBOL at it's finest.

[–] quaglandx3@alien.top 1 points 2 years ago

That should be a straight red for diving. Time to make that shit reviewable and make it a red.

[–] Halforthechump@alien.top 1 points 2 years ago

De Paul should get a red card for that arm grab.

You can see why the ref gave the red, in motion it looks like he smashes him in the face but the replay shows it was actually a really restrained attempt to get the fucker locking his arm in place off him.

[–] WhyAlwaysMe1991@alien.top 1 points 2 years ago

Argentina help continues even after handed the World Cup

[–] DST_Soccer@alien.top 1 points 2 years ago

De Paul always acting the big man, ‘protector of messi’, crumpled on the ground crying from an arm across the chest

[–] AzracTheFirst@alien.top 1 points 2 years ago

Awful, if only, it's a card for the Argentinian player.

[–] ChrisGadge@alien.top 1 points 2 years ago

It's cos City paid the refs.

[–] LOKl31@alien.top 1 points 2 years ago

De Paul, what a fcking cunt

[–] IdontNeedUrKarma@alien.top 1 points 2 years ago

Joey fuckin raging, that was a disgusting decision.

[–] birdinbrain@alien.top 1 points 2 years ago

My friends girlfriend cheated on him while she was in Argentina. I guess we can’t really blame her though, she was just taking after the national team

[–] libscanskit@alien.top 1 points 2 years ago

Argentinians still flopping, disgusting

[–] Saint-12@alien.top 1 points 2 years ago

Should have let Bruno Guimarães do it.

[–] jimmymerc89@alien.top 1 points 2 years ago

What goes around comes around. - Justin Timberlake

[–] yummiecummie88@alien.top 1 points 2 years ago

Not sure if that's De Paul or RuPaul on the field.

[–] Scofield442@alien.top 1 points 2 years ago

Honestly, De Paul should be banned for 3 games. Shit like this needs to be punished. Stop cheating.

[–] The_XI_guy@alien.top 1 points 2 years ago

Just like the World Cup

[–] maxoys45@alien.top 1 points 2 years ago

Is there any team more unlikeable than the Argentina national team, cheating scum

[–] Jimlaheydrunktank@alien.top 1 points 2 years ago

That’s not even a foul lmao. He just gets his arm off of him.

[–] ArtOfFailure@alien.top 1 points 2 years ago

With a proper view of the incident it looks like Joelinton actually does pretty well to twist himself free of De Paul's grip without lashing out or pushing back in any particularly aggressive way. Feels like pretty solid "clear and obvious error" territory here, and I might've even expected a booking for De Paul - if for the holding alone, let alone the simulation.

[–] dolphin37@alien.top 1 points 2 years ago

Looked good on the ball though didn’t he

Masterful levels of shithousery from De Paul there

[–] the_pochinki_bandit@alien.top 1 points 2 years ago

i've seen people hit by cars that have rolled less
