damn, that sounds frustrating. i'd say just return it and maybe look into a different solution altogether. sucks that it's not living up to the hype.

Man, that sounds frustrating. Have you tried reaching out to their customer support? Sometimes they have some tips or updates that can help with these kinds of issues.
The main problem is that the Somfy RTS blinds do not report their position back to the remote and there is no "set position" command
How can you blame the Bond for it's inability to report position, when the Somfy doesn't report position?
I understand that it does not work to your desire and satisfaction. But, I feel that this is more to do with Somfy than Bond.
Why did you go with the pro version, which is more overpriced than Apple products, rather than the regular version, which is more overpriced than it should be? Not saying that the regular version won't have this issue, just saying that I think you get more functionality with it.
