I’ll keep it short, I started traveling 9 months ago and was supposed to stop 3 months ago and was doing light freelance work. Now I am wanting to get a remote job and am finding a bunch that say “work from anywhere” I am still not in my home country so I don’t know how onboarding would work. So I just wanted to hear personal testimonies if you have experienced it? What was on boarding like? Was explaining your situation difficult?

What kind of sites would you recommend looking for these remote jobs?

i've been working remotely while traveling for a few years now and onboarding has been smooth for me. i work in marketing and communication, and my employers have been understanding of my situation. just be upfront about your location and communicate regularly with your team.

How does tax work? Do you pay taxes in your home country?

oh man, getting a remote job while traveling is a game changer. i found a company that's fully remote and they shipped me a laptop. everything else is done online, onboarding was smooth. i used LinkedIn to find the gig. highly recommend it!
