Most people seem to be giving their ranks on MVP voting citing only QBs. It’s hard to imagine that just a title over 10 years ago Brees’ 46 TDs wasn’t enough to win MVP.

I’m curious as to who the real MVP candidates are. QB production is down so I’m really gearing towards awarding it to a defensive player like Myles Garrett. I know some people have also cited CMC and Hill.

Miles Garrett

Leggatron. Only one missed kick at 50+ yards. Single footingly keeping the jets in games on a coattails of a great defense.

Tyreek or CMC

Deron Bland if he gets another pick 6, CMC, and then Myles Garrett

Myles Garrett

As a Seahawks fan I think CMC should get it.

CMC, Myles Garrett or AJ Brown (God, please let it be AJ Brown so that the tears of Tits fans can sustain me for years to come)

I want Stroud to win ROTY and MVP but if your deadset on the MVP not being a QB then the only answer that is correct is Myles Garrett. He's been an absolute game changer and is predominantly the reason the browns have been winning games.

If there were a year where an argument could be made for a defender being the MVP, its this year.

Give it to a punter and call it a day

Myles garret has 13.5 sacks in 10 games. Has blocked fried goals. And is the reason the browns are where they are.

He will get DPOY, but Garrett should be the MVP.

The entire Eagles O-Line except the holding merchant, Jason Kelce.

jj watt still should’ve won in 2014

Tyreek

WR MVP would be sweet

[–] Hey_look_new@alien.top 1 points 1 year ago

TJ Watt is single handedly keeping the Steelers in the playoff hunt

A QB should and it should be Brock Purdy.

[–] sum_dude44@alien.top 1 points 1 year ago

If Fins win division, it should be Tyreek Hill

[–] howisthisathingYT@alien.top 1 points 1 year ago

Tyreek Hill, AJ Brown, CMC, Myles Garrett, Daron Bland, maybe Tua?

Fuck it, give it to a kicker again. Aubrey and Butker are both kicking 100% right now.

Myles Garrett

[–] CaptainHardc_ck@alien.top 1 points 1 year ago

Cmc, no question.

[–] Ok_Alternative7120@alien.top 1 points 1 year ago

CMC, Hill, Garrett, or Watt would all be fine picks. Really couldn't go wrong with any of them. All of them would be better than any QB this year.

[–] DreadSteed@alien.top 1 points 1 year ago

Tyreek Hill if he breaks the record.

[–] rpxpackage@alien.top 1 points 1 year ago

At this point a qb should never win MVP. It should be its own award. QB MVP. how does anyone else in the league stand a chance to get MVP when there is one person on the field that touches the ball every play and decides where the ball goes? Its dumb.

[–] JozzifDaBrozzif@alien.top 1 points 1 year ago

CMC, Hill, or Myles Garrett are all worthy.

But Lamar and Tua have good cases if one finishes the one seed so they QB run is gonna continue in all likelihood.

[–] Amoeba_mangrove@alien.top 1 points 1 year ago

Not MVP but if Bland breaks the record I think he should be considered for DPOY. 7+ turnovers and 30-35 points generated on your own is arguably more impact than higher pure INT numbers or high sacks. No bias

[–] mackinder@alien.top 1 points 1 year ago

What do you mean by “MVP, not being a quarterback”. I was told this was Justin Fields year. So disappointing.

[–] matmortel@alien.top 1 points 1 year ago

It's ridiculous how a non qb has to literally have record breaking numbers to be named mvp. We all know that qb is THE position, but players in other positions are more valuable to their team then their respective qbs.

[–] TheElk19@alien.top 1 points 1 year ago

CMC, Hill, Myles Garret, Daron Bland, Jason Kelce all have cases imo but it will undoubtedly go to a QB

[–] TheEpicEddy@alien.top 1 points 1 year ago

I would like to believe Tua has a chance especially if the Dolphins beats the cowboys and ravens

[–] Prestigious-Rock201@alien.top 1 points 1 year ago
[–] Rhodie114@alien.top 1 points 1 year ago

I'm definitely biased, but with all the talk about how the tush push is an automatic play for Philly, Jason Kelce should at least be part of the conversation.
